Top 8 things I want in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

    As I saw a trailer of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for the Switch, I was already hyped at the first few seconds, but then the hype meter went up as I saw the Inklings, flipping Inklings! But the hype just isn't enough for me...sure I was very hyped, but there are somethings that are missing to me. So I made a list of top 8 things I want in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, you see what I did there? This list doesn't include actual battle maps because it already have battle maps. 

    8. Custom Flag - This was a feature that was only in Mario Kart DS. Custom Flags (I think what's what it's called) is basically a flag that you can make for your own. Like for example, you can have a blue lightning flag, or a 8-Bit Mega Man face flag, and tons more. I like the feature in Mario Kart DS, heck it would be cool to have custom flags in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

    7. More teams? - Ok so I'm kinda running out of ideas while making the list, but having more teams can be....interesting. 2 Teams si good, but why not more? Why not up to 6 teams? There's red (Mario) and blue (Bowser) teams, but if we get more, then the suggested teams would be Green (Luigi), Yellow (Wario), Purple (Waluigi), and Pink (Peach). If there's 6 teams, then each team would have 2. 3 teams = 4 racers per each. 4 teams = 3 racers per each. 5....umm....5 can't go into 12. 

   6. Mission Modes - Another feature from Mario Kart DS where you can do missions. I like how the missions can help you learn more wither it's from drifting 20 times before crossing the finish line, or driving backwards. And speaking of Mission Modes...

    5. Boss battles - Boss Battles became a thing in Mario Kart DS and Wii. You can fight bosses in Mission Mode in Mario Kart DS and on the internet in Mario Kart Wii. I like that you can fight big baddies while in driving a kart, with 3 balloons as your health. These boss battles are rather fun, and I hope we get to fight bosses in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

    4. No friendly fires - Ah friendly fires, you can ruin partnerships like how the game ruins friendship. To be honest, I hate friendly fires when it comes to Teams. Got a target in your sight with a red shell in your possession, then you throw the red shell, and the red shell hits your partner instead. You're going into first place getting really near to the flag, but then suddenly you got hit by a Spiny Shell from a fellow partner of yours and that might cost your team the race, maybe even the whole game. Well Mario Kart Wii doesn't have that, but why not the others? This can ruin not only friendship but also partnership and make someone lose trust on that person and/or gets trust issues. If it's not the teammate who's causing the problem, then it could be your A.I. partner who gave you problems. I love how in Mario Kart Wii that you can't get hit by your team's (and your own) items. Of course certain items like shells and banana peels can hit you, but nothing really happens (Except that you might ruin someone's trap for the other team). But what about lightnings or shiny shells that your allies use? Don't worry cuz these things are after your opponents and your opponents only. Going towards the finish line in 1st place, a shiny shell appears and BOOM!! It hits your rival who's behind you and you get into the finish line in first place all thanks to your buddy who threw the spiny shell! Please Nintendo, disable the friendly fires in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and this can make Team modes more fun.

   3. Even more Mii Racing Suits - I like the idea of having lots of different racing suits for the Miis in Mario Kart 8 and getting them from specific amiibos. Since the Daisy, Waluigi, and Boo amiibos are now made by the developers of Nintendo, I bet they'll make even more Mii racing suits. Daisy, Waluigi, and Boo amiibos are not as worth buying for most people, but if they make a Daisy suit, Waluigi suit, and Boo suit, then these amiibos will be worth a little more to buy. Here's a list of Mii racer suits I would like to see from certain amiibos; Callie suit, Marie suit, Diddy Kong suit, Bowser Jr. suit, and Inkling suit. But here's a few amiibos that I want to be compatible for the game but most likely never will be, and these amiibos are Ryu, Roy, and Mii Fighters. Ryu, Roy, and the Mii Fighter amiibos are known to be one of the "worst amiibos" because they're only compatible for just one game, Smash 4. Heck they're not even compatible for Super Mario Maker. The Roy amiibo was suppose to be compatible for Fire Emblem Fates, but it's not. Ryu.....I dunno, I don't think the Ryu amiibo will be compatible for Ultra Street Fighter 2 (Cuz you know...). The Mii Fighters are just like Ryu and Roy, but seems to be only made for Smash 4. I was quite bummed out when I heard about the Roy and Ryu amiibos not being worth much to buy, which I even owned a Roy amiibo (and my uncle owns a Ryu amiibo). If the Mii Fighter amiibos are compatible for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, they should give unique suits for the Miis, like a futurist Mii suit if it scans the Mii Gunner amiibo. Maybe you can customize these suits, just like customizing the Mii Fighter amiibos. If Nintendo makes a Ryu suit, Roy suit, as well as the unique Mii suits from the Mii Fighter amiibos, I would be so happy. If not, then I hope that one day someone will make a game that will make the Roy and Ryu amiibos compatible for that game.

    2. More racers - We got more racers such as King Boo, Bowser Jr., Dry Bones, and THE INKLINGS!! But these racers are not enough....in my opinion. Of course Mario Kart 8 Deluxe might have the biggest roster of the franchise, but there are some racers that I would really want to see in the game, and here's my racer wish list. Mach Rider, Mona, "Excitebike Biker dude," Sonic, Pac-Man, Mega Man, and CAPTAIN FALCON! Mach Rider would be a great character to have in a Mario Kart game. Mach Rider came from the game called "Mach Rider". In Mario Kart Wii, there's a bike called "Mach Bike" and that bike is Mach Rider's bike, and that surprised me. Even the Blue Falcon was unlockable in the game, but not Captain Falcon or Mach Rider. We all wanted Falcon in a Mario Kart game, a Mii impostor of Captain Falcon is just not good enough. I mean we got the Blue Falcon, and 2 F-Zero tracks. If Mach Rider gets in the game, then we can have the Mach Bike (and the Mach Wheels too?). Mona because...well, I thought she would be a cool addition for  Mario Kart. Sonic, Mega Man, and Pac Man because they're racers too. I mean come on, we've seen Mario and Sonic together in the Olympics multiple times and we got to see them fight in Smash bros, just what we all wanted (Well Pac Man and Mega Man did enter Smash 4, which brings more hype). Mega Man and Sonic had their own racing games and heck, even Pac Man entered a couple Mario Kart Games (Mario Kart Arcade GP & Mario Kart Arcade GP 2) which was awesome! Heck, we can get to use their carts in the game, their own race tracks, as well as new cups like the Chaos Emerald Cup, Helmet Cup, and see Mario, Mega Man, Sonic, and Pac Man racing all together! And the Excitebike Biker dude....well, why not? We got a Excitebike track so, yeah. And we can get other Excitebike dudes to share spots like the Yoshis and Shy Guys.
   
    1. Character clones to share slots with the originals - Mario Kart 8 has a big roster, and with cool new characters such as the Koopalings, even Link and Villagers. But then there's Baby Daisy, Baby Rosalina, Metal Mario, and "everyone's favorite racer" Pink Gold Peach. Now we got another Mario and Peach clone (and a Bowser clone that came back) as DLC. When Dry Bowser entered Mario Kart Wii, no one bats an eye. But when Pink Gold Peach enters, everyone loses their minds. Don't get me wrong, I like these characters, including Pink Gold Peach, but they're pretty much hateable mostly because each one is a waste of the roster and it was a lazy move that Nintendo did. Why not these clones share spots? We have 8 other Yoshis/Shy Guys sharing their spots with the originals, even the Villagers. Why not them? Mario can share spots with Tanooki Mario and Metal Mario, Peach can share spots with Pink Gold Peach and Cat Peach, and the babies can all share spots with each other, and maybe Bowser and share spots with Dry Bowser. And once they all share spots, then there will be a lot of more space for more racers. Of course if they make yet another clone like Dr. Mario, Mario Kun, Nurse Peach, Shadow Queen Peach, Orange Bronze Daisy, Blue Platinum Rosalina, Green Silver Luigi, Yellow Diamond Wario, and Purple Iron Waluigi, then they all have to share spots with the originals. If that happens, then we would all be cool them, am I right Nathaniel Bandy? I hope they become at least DLC with at least 1 character in my wish list. This one can support number 2 because it can give space for more racers, even tho there's enough space for every character in my wish list. Heck, there might be more characters coming up but there's not enough space for 8 more racers or more.
